BABYJ COMETH!

He's here!
Wasn't last night. Wasn't today, either. Could be tomorrow, though.

Is it too soon to conclude that BabyJ has inherited his dad's overwhelming reluctance to leaving the house?
Since yesterday evening, Sadie's been having contractions every 10 to 20 minutes. We didn't get much sleep, but we did take about 30 naps. Just waiting until we're at the 5-1-1 stage before we head off to the bed and breakfast across the river we like to call Lowell General. Could be tonight, could be tomorrow--too soon to tell.
Hide and seek was exciting. He was practicing breathing and wiggling his lips. Will thinks he was talking to himself about computers--that's what Will does when he thinks no one is looking.

We're seeing signs of approaching labor. Sadie is doing a good job with early contractions. We're just waiting until this party gets started.
Somehow, Reese (neighborhood cat) slipped into our house while I had the door propped open yesterday when my dad and I were bringing the crib in. Reese slipped in the house, deposited a dead bird in the boot tray, and then slipped out again unnoticed. Like a ninja. We think Reese thinks he dropped off an easy-to-prepare meal for when the baby comes.

Off to an ultrasound where we play hide and seek with BabyJ.
The crib showed up at Babys'r'us, but it was too big for our car, so we spent the day at Will's parents' house, borrowed the Suburban, got the crib, delivered it to our house and now we're making pasta salad.

Sadie enjoyed the day visiting Will's parents and sister. We've sent BabyJ an email asking him what his schedule is. No response, yet. Next we'll try texting him... though, it'll be weird if his cell phone rings in Sadie's tummy.
It's a gorgeous day outside. Will is still working, but Sadie is officially on maternity leave and enjoying reading email and seeing the predictions on Doodle.

If BabyJ wants to be warm outside, he should come soon.
We threw together a prediction poll on Doodle.

Go to http://www.doodle.com/i5bzw8rwvscwb7p7 and throw in your prediction for when BabyJ will grace us with his presence! No need to sign up for an account or log in--just toss your name in, pick your time slot and press the "Save" button.
Another day of Dr. appointments and check ups.

BabyJ is doing fine just hanging out where he is, but the midwives and doctors won't let him stay past next Tuesday Nov. 23rd.

So one way or another BabyJ will be with us by Thanksgiving!

Thank goodness!
Sadie is doing what we think will be the last run to the grocery store for a while.

Will is making a valiant attempt to tie up all loose ends for work.

BabyJ is hopefully thinking about coming out to play.
Sadie went to work this morning and Will is spending some time at the Javaroom finishing up the migration from yesterday.

No news, yet. Will is secretly slipping Tobasco sauce in Sadie's food.
Migrated bluesock to the new server. Noticed that Sadie's sister Ellen is very (very) eagerly looking forward to news.

No news, yet, though we had a very lovely day.
Yay! It's the "due date" which is really just a slightly-more-calculated-than-a-wild-guess date. They say it could happen any day now. We say, "Bring it on!"

If anything exciting happens today, we'll keep you posted.
Had a doctor's appointment today. Everything's fine, but babyj hasn't gotten the memo, yet. "Time to get out of the pool, babyj!"
Nothing interesting to report today. It's nice that it stopped raining. We had a nice walk.
Not, yet. Sadie's due guess-date is Friday, so it'll probably happen soon.
Not, yet.
